Well, at least I really slept 10 hours from Friday to Saturday. When I finally woke up my mother had decided we (me, my parents and my grandma) would have lunch at Petrópolis, a city on Rio hills. It’s a lovely city, about 80 km distant from mine, and pleasantly colder than mine too. It was colonized by Bavarian immigrants during 19th century and soon became the summer residence of the emperor Dom Pedro II, for whom the city is named. Successive presidents made it the unofficial summer capital of Brazil. It has many fine buildings, like a Gothic cathedral and the old imperial palace, which is now a museum containing possessions of Portuguese and Brazilian royalty. Everybody who had studied in my state had to go there at least once during school years to visit that museum, which is really nice. Anyway Petrópolis is also known by Teresa Street, a wonderful place with lots of shops where you can buy really cheap stuff like clothes and shoes.
So we went there, had a really good Italian lunch and then went shopping. I bought myself two nice blouses and would have bought more if I had the money. I even found nightgowns by US$ 2 – and when I bought some in the beginning of the year to use after my surgery I thought I’ve found really cheap ones by US$ 5 each of them!! My mother and grandma also bought clothes, while my father patiently waited for us. It seemed everybody had the same idea, though, because there were many people shopping too, specially because today’s Mother’s Day, they were probably buying gifts. On our way back home I was so tired I slept all time, only waking up when we were almost in front of our building. But that was enough, later I spent 5 hours watching Queer as Folk S3 episodes, we’re having a rerun here. Although it’s not my favorite TV show... well, there’s a lot of male nudity on it, right? So I watch it...

I loved the first two seasons...
...of Queer As Folk! The third season was alright, but I think I was getting tired of it by then. But like you, I still watch it!

Re: I loved the first two seasons...
I've never watched it entirely, Dusty, just the S3. And as I didn't watch the English version, just the American one, I can't say which one is better. But in fact I prefer Oz - until its reruns start I can feed my m/m obsession with those cute guys of QAF!!

If you get a chance...
...watch seasons one and two of the American version of QAF! Very hot, and the relationships are more enjoyable. But nothing compares to Oz! Oz is in it's own league.

I'll wait for reruns, Dusty. Those guys are really cute, but nothing compares to my man Keller, LOL
