Oh, the pretty. Unfortunate that the pope died on his birthday, though.

P.S. Am not a stalker! Added you a while back. There's never enough Melonilust to go around.

I didn't realise until you pointed this out - shows how out of the loop I am lately. I wonder how he feels, as a Catholic, about the Pope dying on his birthday?

I think he won't have good memories of this year's birthday in the future, but I didn't know about his religion. Is he really Catholic?

I think I read somewhere that he is, if I didn't just jump to conclusions, given his tattoo and Italian heritage.
Apr. 4th, 2005 05:02 pm (UTC)
Yes, the Italian heritage makes me think about religion, but the tattoo never put any thought in my mind. I mean, people use many symbols as tattoos, even when they don't understand them, because they have specific meanings to them. Or maybe I think that way just because Keller told Beecher about getting that damn tattoo during his honeymoon at Vegas! ;o)

Well, he seems to have integrated his childhood Catholicism into a larger world view. Methinks he's a spiritual libertine. But I also think anyone who was raised Catholic would be a little freaked at having an iconic pope like John Paul expire on his birthday. Our poor boy.

*takes a moment to cuddle kellerized version of meloni*

Apropos of nothing, a friend of mine turned 21 on Sept. 11, 2001. How's that for unfortunate timing?

As I wrote few comments above (LOL) the tattoo thing never made me thought of him as a Catholic. Many people used several symbols or images from religions as tats not because they understand/believe on them, but because they have specific meanings to them. That could have happened to him. But maybe Keller's version of how he got that tattoo during honeymoon at Vegas could have made me think that way, *g*

When I look at this pic, I keep staring at his neck. I don't think I ever noticed neck until I noticed Chris. :)

So here go two necks for you, sister! ;o)
