kitestringer? My father was watching a TV show the other night and when I decided to pay attention to it I saw CKR on my TV!!! It was Battlestar Galactica, he was tortured because he was supposed to know where a bomb was. Then he was killed because he'd lied about it. Such a waste!!!

And just the other day I watched The Beat, a Tom Fontana's "lost show" - Richard Belzer, Scott William Winters and Lee Tergesen were on that episode, it was a good surprise!! The best surprise, though, was discovering how similar Scott and Dean Winters are. You know, at Oz I could see they were brothers but never thought they looked so alike. The Beat showed me a very different Scott, sexy (what a voice!) and almost a Dean copy, they could be twins!

It's on Brazilian TV, with subtitles and all. I think it's a rerun because I remember debaser28 had talked to me about it some months ago. Doesn't it have its own DVD version?

CKR played a Cylon Leoben Conoy. The Cylons are artificially intelligent machines who turned against their human creators like HAL in 2001:A Space Odyssey. They evolved a series of organic models that look human. Leoben is one of these models, each of whom have several copies, so there is a slim possibility that he'll turn up later on. In addition to this episode CKR was in the two-part miniseries that started the modern incarnation of this show; unfortunately Leoben just isn't a regular character. Battlestar Galactica has been described as a Space Aeneid because the Cylons have wiped out billions of humans leaving behind less than 50,000 surivors who are trying desperately to find a safe refuge; a mythical planet called Earth. This is a great series. I strongly recommend it.

kitestringer talked about it some time ago, just like other LJers. It's on Brazilian TV, but I'm not sure about its schedule. I'll try to watch it more frequently from now on, at least to look for another CKR glimpse! :o)

I'm afraid its unlikely that CKR will make an appearance. They already have two Cylons in the regular cast. Fortunately the show IMO is great on its own merits.
