Oh God...

I'm a rat again... I lost verbalthing and visionofblue birthdays, damn it! I knew they were coming, but didn't remember to send them my best wishes on correct days. Sorry girls, I'm sure you had a very good time celebrating them, wish you lots of joy and success!!!

It's getting hot again down here. It's autumn. I'm not liking it.

* * *

I wish I was a man, so I could just shave my head and be happy. My hair right now has an attitude, I'm not controlling it anymore and I'm hating to handle it every morning.

Reccing time: I'm in love with a HP/LM named Je Te Plumerais (and its sequels, The Exaltation of the Lark and Birdseye). All of them were written by nimori, I had a very pleasant time reading her stories. These ones are painfully beautiful, there's so much love in all of them (last one is hilarious too, everybody reacting to Harry and Lucius marriage!), and there's also a nice illustration for first story that now also is being used as my wallpaper. Probably I'll use it at work too. Oh yes, they're hot too but I think it'd be obvious *g*
So go read them, kids - you'll need a password to that, but it's easy to get one, just send a message to the address at her site (password section). Have a nice time!

OMG I saw my name at Oz Lyric Wheel list!!! It's exciting and scary at same time, I want to do my best but I'm not sure it'll happen. Damn it, I'll write a story and it'll be very, very good - now I just have to repeat it several times until I'm believing it, LOL

This week I'll be working from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. from Monday to Thursday. Probably I'll be too fucking tired to come here, but I'll be ok and a little richer at Friday, I suppose. And as I'm going to wake up in five hours I must go to be right now!

Hee. Thanks! It's fine, I was busy having a Veronica Mars marathon and eating cake, anyway. ;)

I wish I was a man, so I could just shave my head and be happy.

Since I have a ton of unruly banshee hair and live in forever sticky hot Florida, I've had the same wish. I can only imagine it's much hotter there, poor you. Sometimes I just stare at the clippers and sigh wistfully. *g* I think if I were thin, and could pull the look off, I would've just given in and shaved my entire head by now. I'm kind of a mildly goth/punky dressing girl though. I used to shave part of my head, actually. Just the mostly unseen underneath, starting right below the tip of my ears and going all the way round. It actually did help with the heat, it was fun to rub my hand over when frustrated, and no one could even tell it was shaved when I wore my hair down. I'm finally growing it back out though. Of course, no one can really see that either, heh.

Damn it, I'll write a story and it'll be very, very good - now I just have to repeat it several times until I'm believing it, LOL

You will write a fantabulous story. You will be terribly inspired by your lyrics. It will rock. Does that help? ;)

And as I'm going to wake up in five hours I must go to be right now!

Ack. Go to bed. Shoo. Rest.

This hair things annoys me since I was a kid, there are times in which my hair seems to be a different part of me, with its own desires! If it only could more easier to handle *sigh*

And thanks for inspiring me with a new mantra, now I'm sure my story will really rock!! ;o)

Ah, you've discovered Nimori's "Alouette" series! Gorgeous, isn't it?

Here are two of my other Harry/Lucius favorites:

"We'll Always Have Stockholm" by gmth. A fab 500-word ficlet.

"Stumble" by glockgal. It's about halfway down the page; you'll need to enter a password to access it. Glock's primarily known as an artist, but anything she writes is great... especially this.

"We'll always have Stockholm" made me feel sorry for poor Harry, I'd already read it. Poor boy, he didn't have a chance in Lucius' hands, did he? Obviously Draco's Daddy had a nice time watching Harry being tortured from some hidden place inside his own manor... ick!
"Stumble" is very nice too, but after Stockholm I was feeling bad, so I'll have to read it again to enjoy, *g*
