Besides meeting great people who are really my friends (not that bastard who made me so sad recently) I’d another wonderful moment: I bought a medium pair of jeans. Ok, I’ve done it before but this one is a basic pair of jeans, plain blue and it’s comfy, tight and *medium* at same time – how cool is that? *g* I’ve been looking for it for some time but at big women clothes shops, because I was sure I wouldn’t find a nice pair for me on regular sizes shops. Whatever, I found some pretty nice but all of them were outrageously expensive, at least for me – I mean, they were about 70 dollars and I refuse to pay it for clothes. When I was almost giving up at 5th or 6th shop I remembered a big one, Leader Magazine, in which I’d bought good clothes in the past, and although it’s a regular sizes kind of shop they used to sell bigger ones, so why not give it a try? It was the best idea *ever* because there were tons of jeans of all types there: dark blue ones, colored ones, stone washed ones, basic ones... and all sizes were available. Most important of all: although there were expensive clothes there all jeans were considerably cheap, and I ended up finding mine, the said plain blue pair, by 18 dollars! Of course I had to embarrass myself by asking a girl who worked there if the price was really just that. And I had to fall in love with 5 different pairs of plain blue pairs, lol – but in the end I decided for just one, it made me feel sexy and powerful and I’ll be using that tomorrow to travel.

Which reminds me I should go sleep, it’s getting late – I’ll take photos of our new house and post here as soon as possible!!!

Hey Adri. I'm glad to know things are going well regarding the move. I hope you can get yourself settled in quickly. I've never had to move (well, once, but I was 3, so it doesn't count) so I don't really know what it's like, but I imagine it's a great pain to get everything organized again, so good luck.

And congratulations on finding a good pair of jenas. It seems like it's getting harder amd harder to do that these days. I always have a hell of a time buying clothes because I'm very particular (and usually hate the newest fashion trend) and I simply refuse to pay outrageous prices. I mean, 70 dollars for a pair of pants? No way. I don't care how wonderful it is, it's just not worth it. Money doesn't grow on trees, after all.

Oh, and I love the new LJ look. ;) World Cup coming, yay! Btw, I do think we can win, though it would probably be nicer of us to let someone else win it this time.

Isn't that perfect when they fit and aren't all that expensive? I can't understand how people can pay too much money for clothes - ok, there are very nice clothes that happen to be expensive but as you said money doesn't grown on trees!!

And I stopped believing in our guys since 1982 - see, I was a traumatized kid then, lol. Well, I'm pissed with this "we're the favorites" scenario, there were unpleasant experiences in our past due to that, and it's good to be a little humble. Let's see what will happen...

oh, things are progressing. I've got post cards for you as soon as you can send me a snail addy.

Good for you in finding new jeans that fit. I hate looking for them.
