Television of 2011 meme

It’s been years since I answered a meme but then I saw this one at amanuensis1 - it seemed easy so... let’s go:

Which TV shows did you start watching in 2011?
Game of Thrones - loved it and can’t wait for next season - it's a pity Drogo won't be there but at least Dany has her three dragons, *g*
Glee - it seems everybody else had already watched it, but for me it’s brand new, I’ve just finished S1. Mercedes and Kurt totally rule and I loved Artie' safety dance!!!
Keeping Up with the Kardashians - I know, I know, but I just can’t stop watching it, *sigh*

Which TV shows did you let go of in 2011?
Brothers & Sisters - I used to like this show a lot, but for some reason I don’t really know I couldn’t make myself watch its last episodes. They’re recorded, though, so maybe someday I’ll watch them.
Hung - another show that I used to like but stopped watching. No reason for that.

Which TV shows did you mean to get into but didn't in 2011? Why?
The Big Bang Theory and Mad Men - everybody seems to like those shows but until now I wasn’t even remotely curious to watch an entire episode.
True blood - I always liked vampire stories but this show never impressed me too much. Anyway I think I’ll try since Chris Meloni is going to be on it, *g*

Which TV shows do you intend on checking out in 2012?
Game of Thrones, Spartacus, Glee, American Horror Story, Supernatural (I’d stopped watching it but Winchester boys got me back with just an episode, lol)

Which TV show impressed you least in 2011?
Grimm - I saw 3 episodes and let go of it. Sam and Dean W. are much better dealing with supernatural beings.

Which TV show do you think you might let go of in 2012 unless things significantly improve?
Can’t think of any show.

Which TV show impressed you the most in 2011? Why?
In fact I hadn’t watched too many shows last year, but I’d say Grimm.

Which TV shows do you think you'll never let go of no matter how crappy they get? Why?
Keeping Up with the Kardashians - can it become worse? Probably. Am I going to stop watching it? Probably not, *sigh*

There was another show that I loved at 2011: The pillars of Earth, but it didn’t fit in any answer above.

Ugh, "Glee".. I was rather enthusiastic about it after I saw the pilot. However, way before the end of S1, love started rapidly turning into hate. When it finally became "The Kurt Show", I began hating it with PASSION. Combined with crappy music choices and no plot whatsoever, it was just too much for my snobby TV heart: I stopped watching it altogether. My life has improved so much since then. *relieved sigh*

I am a total stranger to the phenomenon that are "The Kardashians". I have a feeling that might not be such a bad thing..
On the other hand, I did watch last year's first ever regional (which is just another way of saying ex-Yugoslavian, but since Yugoslavia is still regarded as a swearword where I come from, regional is more acceptable) "Big Brother". Some wars never end. It was a complete trainwreck. And there was no looking away. Guilty pleasure? Hell, yes!

I don't get all the hype surrounding "The Big Bang Theory" either. Or "How I Met Your Mother".
Meanwhile, my funny shows get canceled. ("Bored to Death") *cries and cries and cries*

Dude, every f*cking year we have to watch Brazilian BB in this home, it's a tradition!! My parents love it and we even pay the pay-per-view option so they can watch it during all day, if they're in the mood, lol
Kardashians... I don't know how it started but now me and my mother watch their adventures frequently. Google for Kim, Khloe or Kourtney Kardashian and pray for not becoming addict to them. It's a guilty pleasure to watch them, I assure you!!

Awesome icon!

Your parents rule. Have I told you that lately?
Fortunately, we don't have BB every year, so it's not a continuous temptation. Although, after last year's edition, I firmly decided I wasn't going to watch it any longer. Enough is enough.

Oh, I'm no stranger to gossip, so I've heard of Kim Kardashian. She's literally everywhere, so yeah, I would be able to pick her from a lineup of random instant-(entirely irrelevant)-celebs, but I wouldn't be able to do so with her sisters, nor do I know what it is exactly that she's famous for. I can only assume - and if sarcastic comments regularly thrown her way are anything to go by, I got it right. That said, I never felt even remotely tempted to check what the fuss was/is all about.
