And now this!

My good friend G. asked me to teach him Portuguese. Explaining: he's back to high school to finish his studies, and just seems to think I'd be a good teacher to help him. Who told that to him? It's a lie, I can't be a teacher, I never know how to explain things to people!! I couldn't make my mother to understand how to save photos from messages her friends send to her e-mail. I couldn't make my parents to understand how our VCR works. How can he believe I'll be able to teach him anything else??? fabiopl, if you're out there, tell me about sites in which he can learn it, please....

Geez, on the top of my head I can't remember any links right now. I could look for something as soon as I finish my homework. In the meantime, do a search on "portuguese for foreigners online" or something.

P.S.: Like the new icon? ^_^

and something written in Japanese!

That was the name of the band written in katakana.

Oh, check out these links, see if they're any good:

Heh, apparently Live Journal knows that, because it turned my URL's into hyperlinks.

You're in trouble.*g* Tell your friend that one of the best way of learning portuguese is reading a lot. That was what my dear portuguese teacher, mrs. Terezinha, used to tell me.

I found these two links:

I don't know if they're the best sites about this subject but I hope that they will help you a little.Good luck!

I've already said it to him, but it's hard to teach new tricks to an old dog - he's 24, doesn't read a lot, and probably won't start doing that now. Anyway I'll try hard to help him, thanks for the links!
