Meloni's dream!!

I almost forgot to say I had another Meloni dream: I think it was a movie, he was a soldier during 2nd World War, wearing a khaki military uniform and carrying a bag with an American flag on it. There were other soldiers using same kind of clothes, but I only saw him and his megawatt smile. They were walking, there were houses and buildings around them, and suddenly he was riding a bike. That's all I could remember.

Off the subject,
...but I've been meaning to talk to you about this for a while, Adriana...remember the friends I told you about who spend a lot of time in Brazil? Priscilla was thrilled when I showed her your Brazilian journal, and your photolog. She pulled out her pictures of Niteroi to show me, and was all excited about reading your journal. But she's still learning Portugese, and so she had some trouble with translating parts of your journal. She said the biggest problem she has is learning the everyday slang and commonly used terms that are not taught in school, but heard everyday on the streets.

I told her I'd ask if she could talk to you about them. She could either leave questions for you in your journal comments section, or I could give her your yahoo e-mail address, if that's ok with you.

I showed her your pictures of your parents and you from your past journal posts, and she'd talk to you, but she's not really comfortable with the journal style, yet, and I think she feels she needs to be introduced, or have your permission before she can respond to your journal.

Priscilla is a very good woman, who has helped me out in a time of real trouble, and she and her husband Michael have not only taken me in but insist that I pay them no rent, or anything, until I can get back on my feet! I owe them a great deal, and I'd love to give her a chance to pratice her Portugese, so if you wouldn't mind, I'd really love for her to get a chance to talk to you.

Re: Off the subject,
Hey Dusty! Of course you can give my e-mail to your friend Priscilla, it'll be my pleasure to help her to improve her Portuguese. I didn't know she'd already visited Niterói, I remember you wrote they stay at Pernambuco when they're here - and believe me, it's not that close to Niterói, LOL. Of course it can be by plane, but travelling by bus to there must take about a day or two!
I'm not updating my Brazilian blog so frequently anymore, I intend to fix that but never really do, so I think it'll be better if she write to me at Yahoo, or leave comments at photolog. Anyway I'll answer her, be sure of that!

Priscilla's thrilled! She's looking forward to talking to you. The name on her e-mail is netsqueech - so don't be surprised when you get an e-mail with that name on it. She may forget that I go by Dusty on the internet, so if she talks about Robbie...that's my real name!

I'll send her your e-mail tonight, so she'll be in touch in a couple of days, probably. Thanks!
