Reading time

Second fic finished: How Toby fell - geez, what a fic! Two thumbs up from here, and also to its sequences, Gibraltar May Tumble and Gibraltar Revisited. I know it’d be time to start Desperately Seeking Rebadow , it belongs to the same universe, but I’m not sure it’s finished yet. And I’ve this problem, I hate when a good fic involves me and then I just discover it’s not finished. If anybody out there knows it’s really finished and archived somewhere, please tell me.

Ana, I really appreciated that, it's now one of my beloved fics - you know, there are the ones I love and the ones I like... LOL

Unfortunately DSR is both unfinished and sadly likely to remain that way since the author, Lora, has left the fandom. Don't let that keep you from getting into it, though, because there's still a lot to enjoy. And check out her other wonderful saga, Heat, where photographer/rainmaker Keller comes to a dusty Oklahoma town at the turn of the 20th-century and meets lonely newpaper publisher, Beecher. That one is finished, and you will love it. Look for it at the C5 archive.

Thanks for answering my question, Rebecca, and it's a pity Lora isn't writing anymore. I've already read Heat, and that's because of you! Yeah, sometime ago you wrote a message at TS about fics that are able to keep B/K essence, even when they're AU stories, and you talked about this one. I'm curious, so I looked for that at C5 and it was a really good surprise. I liked it a lot, it's one of my favourites!

It is a pity, but if I remember right a combination of real life, and then the way the series was going at the end made it difficult to stay focused on the story. Which is understandable. At least she did give us a handful of wonderful stories to read again and again. And I'm glad you checked out Heat on my rec, and that you enjoyed it.

Well, so I think I'll give a try to this fic. But first I've to read Get him to the church in time chapters Fiola sent me, finish reading Some enchanted evening, and read again Rough Trade and Belle Epoque - you know, a girl has her priorities! ;o)
